Traditional American mutually-fed magnetic coupling technology, once widely applied and highly praised, has inherent fatal flaws: problematic inter-shaft force causing over 50% of industrial transmission failures and shaft damage; severe iron loss including eddy current and hysteresis loss leading to high energy consumption and heat generation; and invalid soft-start & unreliable torque limiting functions that interfere with equipment protection.
